Tucked away in the rolling North Dorset countryside, just a few miles from Shaftesbury, lies Semley — a quiet village with a rather wonderful secret. It is here, at King Settle Antiques, that you will find the vintage and antique collection of Lavender and Grey.
We have always believed that beautiful things deserve a second life. Alongside our flowers, we seek out pieces with soul — objects that carry a little history, a little mystery, and a great deal of charm.
A Collection to Fall in Love With
Our collection changes with the seasons, much like our floristry. You might discover a gilded mirror catching the afternoon light, a watercolour of the Dorset hills, a pair of vintage linen curtains in the softest faded rose, or a ceramic jug that looks as though it has always belonged on a farmhouse dresser.
We are drawn to small furniture with gentle wear and good bones, to glassware that catches the light beautifully, to original art and botanical prints, to textiles — vintage cushions, secondhand curtains, and fabric remnants in patterns that feel timeless rather than tired.
Every piece is chosen by hand. Nothing ordinary makes it through the door.
